I thought I had already canceled, but then I got billed anyway, which was really frustrating. Support did get back to me eventually, but it took longer than I expected, and the refund explanation wasn’t very clear. I ended up having to follow up and double-check everything myself, which felt like extra work for something that should’ve been simple

I gave Crunchbase a shot because I just wanted a quick way to check company details without falling down a rabbit hole, but a lot of it felt kind of outdated. I’d look up funding rounds or headcount or even basic company info, then compare it with LinkedIn or the company’s own site, and it just didn’t line up.

And that’s where it started to bug me, because if I’m paying for something like this, I’m expecting it to save me time, not make me open five other tabs to verify everything. Some profiles really looked like nobody had updated them in ages, which makes you second-guess the whole thing.
Maybe it’s fine if you’re only looking at huge, well-known companies, I don’t know, but for smaller companies it was hit or miss for me. More miss than hit, honestly. I wanted to like it, but I didn’t feel like I could rely on it, so it didn’t feel worth the money

I mostly use crunchbase to export company lists and connect the data with our other tools, because somehow I always end up being the person stuck cleaning up spreadsheets and fixing outdated info. The CSV exports are usually quick and clean enough, and the integrations save me from having to do a ton of manual updates. It’s not perfect every single time, but compared to the hassle I’m used to dealing with, it makes my workflow so much easier. Overall, I’m really happy with it

I’ve found the company data useful overall. It’s hard to describe exactly, but it feels like most of the core info is solid, while the funding details can be a little spotty or missing in places. Still helpful, just not something I’d rely on as the only source.

I ran into an issue with my Crunchbase account and, just going off my gut, I figured I’d be waiting around or getting some generic response. Surprisingly, support got back to me fast, and it didn’t feel like a copy-paste answer at all.
They seemed to actually understand what I was asking and helped me get it sorted without a bunch of unnecessary back and forth. It was a simple support experience, but my impression was really positive overall...

I just don’t think it’s worth the price. I expected more for what I paid, and while it’s not terrible or anything, I kept thinking I could’ve gotten something similar for less. Maybe if it were cheaper I’d feel differently, but yeah, it just didn’t really feel like good value to me.

The search works fine most of the time, and the filters can help narrow things down. But the results still feel messy sometimes. It’s annoying when the app makes it seem like the filters will make everything super clear, but then you still end up digging through a bunch of stuff that doesn’t really fit.
